Before practicing the Pranayama techniques written by Ebru Şinik in her book Health Breat and Life, you should especially pay attention to the list of contraindications. It is especially recommended that you watch the application video below before practicing.

•         You can practice it, as you need it during the day.

How to Practice?

•         On the floor, in the chair, office, bus, car, airplane; it doesn’t matter where you are. Sit comfortably, erect at 90 degrees.

•         Pay attention the level of your knees. If the knees are lower than the hips, put something under your feet to raise them to the same level as your hips. I use the blue yoga blocks for this purpose.

•         Softly close your eyes and mouth, and put the tip of the tongue to the fire point.

•         Now, inhale deeply through your nose, while expanding your stomach and chest cavity.

•         After your stomach and chest cavity is expanded, before you exhale, pull your stomach muscles inwards first, and then push outwards; do these 10 times.

•         In other words, with one breath, without exhaling, you are going to move your stomach cavity 10 times inwards and outwards.

•         When you are finish, slowly exhale through your nose.

•         It is enough to do this exercise one time a day. But if you have a chronic constipation, or a problem with your liver, you can practice this exercise any time during the day.
